Program Overview
Marriott International and MGM Resorts have formed an exclusive long-term, strategic licensing agreement and have created MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy, which encompasses sixteen of MGM Resorts’ unrivaled destinations, representing more than 40,000 rooms in Las Vegas and other cities across the U.S.
No. This is an exclusive, long-term strategic licensing agreement whereby accommodations at specific MGM Resorts destinations will be available through Marriott’s booking channels.
MGM Rewards is the loyalty program for MGM Resorts International that gives members the power to earn benefits for virtually every dollar they spend with MGM Resorts. Members are rewarded for enjoying hotel, dining, and spa experiences, along with slot and table play at any MGM Rewards destination nationwide. Full program details can be found here.
Marriott Bonvoy® is a Travel Program offered by Marriott International that features extraordinary hotel brands and endless experiences. Upon complimentary enrollment, all members enjoy exclusive benefits and discounted room rates at Marriott hotels and resorts, and access to Mobile Key and Chat, where available. MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy encompasses seventeen of the MGM Resorts destinations, now part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio. Marriott Bonvoy members are able to enjoy select Marriott Bonvoy benefits when they book MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy hotels through Marriott’s booking channels. No, while most MGM Resorts destinations in the United States are part of the relationship with Marriott International, a few select hotels and casinos are not. NoMad Las Vegas, Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, Empire City Casino by MGM Resorts, MGM Northfield Park, and international properties associated with MGM Resorts will not participate in the relationship with Marriott International.
MGM Rewards members who are or will become Marriott Bonvoy members are able to enjoy benefits at all participating properties within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, subject to program terms and conditions.

Meetings & Events
Presently, meeting planners are not able to receive Marriott Bonvoy points for events booked at the property or the MGM Collection, including Bellagio, a Luxury Collection Resort & Casino, W Las Vegas, ARIA Resort & Casino, Autograph Collection and Park MGM Las Vegas, a Tribute Portfolio Resort. We are committed to delivering the ability to extend certain Marriott Bonvoy group benefits to MGM Collection in the future.
At this time, individual guest rooms booked under group rates are not considered qualifying bookings and therefore are not eligible for points or benefits at MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations including Bellagio, a Luxury Collection Resort & Casino, ARIA Resort & Casino, Autograph Collection and Park MGM Las Vegas, a Tribute Portfolio Resort. We are committed to delivering the ability to extend certain Marriott Bonvoy group benefits to MGM Collection in the future.
There are no changes in how you work with MGM Resorts or Marriott on leisure transient or group sales. Your Sales points of contact and all processes remain the same.
Yes. This agreement does not impact or change any group business contracts or terms. All contracts and terms remain in full force and effect.

Upon arriving for a Qualifying Stay at an MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destination, you will see signs at the Front Desk indicating the Priority Check-In Lines and which Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite, and Ambassador Elite tiers are eligible to use them.
Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite members should reach out to their personal Ambassadors for more details. Personal Ambassador contact information can be found in the Marriott Bonvoy app or within the member’s account.

No, you do not have to be an MGM Rewards member to earn Marriott Bonvoy points for Qualifying Stays at MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations. By adding your Marriott Bonvoy number to a Qualifying Stay, you will earn on Qualifying Charges listed in the following FAQ.

To earn Marriott Bonvoy points at included MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations, you must:
- Be an active Marriott Bonvoy member.
- Provide your valid Marriott Bonvoy Membership Account Number at time of booking on Marriott channels.
- Complete a Qualifying Stay (see FAQ below) as a registered guest at the included MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destination and pay for all charges.
Marriott Bonvoy members may earn Marriott Bonvoy points on Qualifying Charges (see FAQ below) only on Qualifying Stays at included MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations. Members who booked a Qualifying Stay via MGM Resorts Call Center, and participating MGM Resorts Travel Agents and need to add their Marriott Bonvoy number may do so by calling the MGM Resorts Call Center at 866.761.7111 prior to arrival or requesting to add their account number at check-in.
A Qualifying Stay for Marriott Bonvoy members to earn Marriott Bonvoy points at included MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations are stays booked through Marriott.com (including Award Redemption Stays), Marriott Bonvoy App, and the Marriott Customer Engagement Centers. Select prevailing rates booked through the MGM Resorts Call Center, and participating MGM Resorts Travel Agents may also be Qualifying Stays.
Stays booked through the following methods at MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations are not considered Qualifying Stays:
- MGM Resorts websites;
- MGM Rewards Mobile App;
- MGM Rewards website;
- MGM Resorts Call Center (non-prevailing rates such as casino offers, MGM Rewards member discounts, etc.);
- Tour operator, online travel channel, or other third-party channel (such as Expedia, Hotwire, Priceline, etc.);
- Booked at a group rate as part of an event, meeting, conference or organized tour;
- Booked at a tour operator, wholesaler, or airline crew room rate or package; including, without limitation, organized tours or package bookings;
- Booked at a complimentary rate;
- Booked with a voucher or third-party award;
- Contracted rooms.
Qualifying Charges for earning Marriott Bonvoy points are those listed below that are charged directly to the member’s room/folio during a Qualifying Stay at an MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destination:
- Room rate on Qualifying Stays, not including room taxes, and resort fees.
- Room upgrade fees.
- In-room dining and mini-bar, not including taxes, gratuities, and service charges.
All other charges on the member’s folio are not Qualifying Charges for earning Marriott Bonvoy points.
Marriott Bonvoy members who join MGM Rewards can also earn MGM Rewards Tier Credits and Points on eligible folio charges per the MGM Rewards Program Rules like Food & Beverage, Spa, Salon, Entertainment, and more.

Yes, Marriott Bonvoy members may earn Marriott Bonvoy points on up to 3 guest rooms with the same check-in and check-out dates at an MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destination during a Qualifying Stay if they personally stay in one of the guest rooms as a registered guest and pay for all 3 rooms. The member’s account number must be on all guest rooms.
Yes, Qualifying Charges on Qualifying Stays at MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations will count towards the Annual Qualifying Spend requirement for achieving Ambassador Elite status.
No, Marriott Bonvoy members can only earn Marriott Bonvoy points on Qualifying Stays at MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations and for Qualifying Charges. Restaurant, bar, spa, and retail charges, for example, are not Qualifying Charges, and there would not be a Qualifying Stay if a member stays at a property that is not an included MGM Resorts destination.

Yes, Marriott Bonvoy members will receive 1 Elite Night Credit towards Marriott Bonvoy Elite Status for each night as part of a Qualifying Stay at MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations. Elite Night Credit will only be awarded for the 1 room in which the member personally stays and pays for, even if they have paid for additional rooms. Members do not receive Elite Night Credit on stays that are not Qualifying Stays.
Marriott Bonvoy members who book a Qualifying Stay earn Marriott Bonvoy points on Qualifying Charges listed above. If the earning preference on your Marriott Bonvoy account is set to earn Miles at the time of your stay instead of Marriott Bonvoy points, you will earn Miles for Marriott Bonvoy base points awarded from Qualifying Stays at MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations.
Elite Marriott Bonvoy bonus points are only issued when the earning preference is set to earn Marriott Bonvoy points. After a Qualifying Stay has posted to your account, the type of earn (Miles or Marriott Bonvoy points) is no longer changeable.

Marriott Bonvoy points can be transferred to an MGM Rewards account at a ratio of 10 Marriott Bonvoy points for 8 MGM Rewards Points. Transfers are subject to a minimum 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per transaction and an annual maximum of 30,000 Marriott Bonvoy points.
MGM Rewards Points may also be transferred to a Marriott Bonvoy account at a ratio of 10 MGM Rewards points for 8 Marriott Bonvoy points and are also subject to a 1,000 MGM Rewards Points minimum transaction and 30,000 MGM Rewards Points annual maximum.

The relationship does not allow for MGM Rewards Tier Credits or MGM Rewards Points to be earned for stays at properties within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio.
For Qualifying Stays, members who provide their correct Marriott Bonvoy Membership Account Number at time of booking or during their stay will typically receive their Marriott Bonvoy Points and Elite Night Credit in their Membership Account within ten (10) days following the completion of their stay.
Members can request credit for missing or incorrectly posted Marriott Bonvoy points in connection with a Qualifying Stay. The request must be received within one (1) year of the completion of the Qualifying Stay to receive any credit. If it has been more than 10 business days following a Completed Stay and Marriott Bonvoy Points are missing from your Account, please submit a Missing Stay Request.

Yes, Marriott Bonvoy members can redeem Marriott Bonvoy points as well as their Free Night Awards (certificates) at MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations.
The amount of Marriott Bonvoy points required per night for an Award Redemption Stay varies by property within MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy. Marriott Bonvoy points required per night are updated continuously and may change at any time. If the Member makes a modification to the Award Redemption Stay, the Member is responsible for the changes to the Marriott Bonvoy points required.
Marriott Bonvoy Award Redemption Stays must be booked through Marriott direct channels such as Marriott.com, Marriott Bonvoy App, or Marriott Customer Engagement Centers. The amount of Marriott Bonvoy points required to book an Award Redemption Stay will be deducted from the Member’s account at the time of booking. Marriott Bonvoy members will not be able to combine cash and Marriott Bonvoy points in a single night such as a Cash & Points Award.
Yes, Marriott Bonvoy members will pay resort fees on Award Redemption Stays at MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations with the exception of Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador level guests who receive waived resort fees on up to 2 rooms inclusive of their own (redemption or paid) at MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations.
Resort fees and inclusions vary by property. Please review the information provided while booking your reservation for specific details.
Marriott continues to have a “Limited Blackout Dates” policy, which means that, subject to the limitations and exclusions listed in the Program Terms & Conditions, Participating Properties have Standard Rooms available every day for Award Redemptions.
At this time, Upgrade Awards are not available at MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations.
No, Marriott Bonvoy points can only be redeemed for award nights at MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations. However, Marriott Bonvoy points can be transferred to MGM Rewards Points, which can be redeemed for spa, dining, and other incidentals at MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations.
Marriott Bonvoy points can be transferred to an MGM Rewards account at a ratio of 10 Marriott Bonvoy points for 8 MGM Rewards Points. Account Linking
A unique offering of this relationship, MGM Rewards members with Pearl and above Tier Status are able to link to their MGM Rewards account to their Marriott Bonvoy account. MGM Rewards Pearl and above members who link their accounts will receive a matched tier in Marriott Bonvoy and experience the benefits provided with each respective tier at participating Marriott Bonvoy destinations.
Marriott Bonvoy Members do not need to link their Marriott Bonvoy account to an MGM Rewards account in order to earn, redeem and enjoy their unique benefits at MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destinations.

When MGM Rewards members stay at properties within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, they will need to provide an active Marriott Bonvoy number to earn Marriott Bonvoy points and receive Marriott Bonvoy benefits.
MGM Rewards members with Pearl and above Tier Status will need to link their MGM Rewards and Marriott Bonvoy accounts in order to receive status matching benefits which they can enjoy at properties within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio.
MGM Rewards members with Pearland above Tier Status will need to link their MGM Rewards and Marriott Bonvoy accounts in order to receive status matching benefits which they can enjoy at properties within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio.
To link accounts, simply follow these steps:
- Sign into your MGM Rewards account and navigate to your “My Rewards” page.
- Tap “Link a Marriott Bonvoy account.”
- Enter your Marriott Bonvoy login.
- Your Marriott Bonvoy tier will be upgraded automatically based on your MGM Rewards status. A confirmation message will appear once accounts have been linked.
- Sign in to your Marriott Bonvoy account to explore your upgraded tier and start enjoying your new benefits.
MGM Rewards members with Pearl status are eligible to link accounts and receive Marriott Bonvoy Silver Elite status. Marriott Bonvoy tier level status match and benefits terms are valid so long as an MGM Rewards member maintains an active MGM Rewards account and Pearl tier status or higher in the MGM Rewards program, and will vary based on the MGM Rewards member’s then current MGM Rewards account tier status.
Yes, you may opt-in for tier reciprocity again after your matched tier in MGM Rewards expires according to MGM Rewards program rules and subject to the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy Terms of & Conditions and Marriott Bonvoy Terms & Conditions.
MGM Rewards Tier Credits are used to determine Tier Status with MGM Rewards and do not count towards Marriott Bonvoy Elite tier status.
Two-way Point Transfer
Points transfer is a unique benefit for members of both loyalty programs to convert MGM Rewards Points to Marriott Bonvoy points and Marriott Bonvoy points to MGM Rewards Points.
Marriott Bonvoy points can be transferred to an MGM Rewards account at a ratio of 10 Marriott Bonvoy points for 8 MGM Rewards Points. Transfers are subject to a minimum 1,000 points per transaction and an annual maximum of 30,000 Marriott Bonvoy points.
MGM Rewards Points may also be transferred to a Marriott Bonvoy account at a ratio of 10 MGM Rewards Points for 8 Marriott Bonvoy points and are also subject to a minimum 1,000 MGM Rewards Points per transaction and an annual maximum of 30,000 MGM Rewards Points.
Note, members MUST ensure that the name of the primary account holder matches in both the Marriott Bonvoy and MGM Rewards Loyalty Programs.
To get started, follow these steps to transfer your MGM Rewards Points to Marriott Bonvoy points:
- Sign in to your MGM Rewards account.
- Go to “My Rewards” and tap “Transfer Points”
- Choose the amount of MGM Rewards Points you wish to transfer and provide your Marriott Bonvoy member account number.
- Click continue and a message at the top of the page about your transfer will appear.

Note, members must ensure that the name of the primary account holder matches both the Marriott Bonvoy and MGM Rewards Loyalty Programs.
To get started, follow these steps to transfer your Marriott Bonvoy points to MGM Rewards Points:
- Make sure you have your MGM Rewards membership information ready. Not a member? Join Now.
- Sign in to your Marriott Bonvoy account.
- Click on Use Points and Awards, and then click on Use Points Overview (the first selection in the drop-down menu)
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and select “Unlock More: Transfer points to partners.”
- Select MGM Rewards in the drop-down, enter your MGM Rewards Account number and choose the amount of Marriott Bonvoy points you wish to transfer.
- Click continue and redeem your points with MGM Rewards or check out our FAQs for more details.
In most cases, point transfer transactions will be posted to the Member’s Account automatically. Once a transaction is completed, cancellation, changes, reissuance, and/or refunds to the initiating account are not allowed.
